FC Cincinnati outclassed Inter Miami Saturday night in a match between the MLS's two best teams so far in 2024.

The orange and blue put up six goals, beating Miami 6-1. They scored four in the first half and two more in the second. Six is tied for the most goals FC Cincinnati has ever scored in an MLS game. The team beat the San Jose Earthquakes 6-0 on Sept. 10, 2022.

Yuya Kubo, Lucho Acosta, Pavel Bucha and Yamil Assad scored in the first half. Kubo found twine again 12 minutes into the second half and Gerardo Valenzuela capped off the orange and blue scoring in the match's 72nd minute.

FC Cincinnati could've scored more too. The team had ten shots on goal, including a few high-danger chances that didn't lead to goals. Acosta forced Miami goalkeeper Drake Callendar to make a tough save just after Kubo's first goal. Luca Orellano missed just high in the 16th minute. Yamil Asad scored shortly after Inter Miami's tally, but offsides called it back.
