The Duke Blue Devils, led by Williamson, and Florida State Seminoles battle for the ACC Tournament title today and it should be a doozy. The No. 5 Blue Devils just pulled off a 74-73 victory over the No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels Friday night, while the No. 13 Seminoles shocked the No. 1 seed Virginia 69-59.
According to Covers, the o/u in Duke vs. Florida State is 145.5 points. Take the under there, but they should flirt with that total so it's going to be close.
Duke is the 8.5-point favorite, which is interesting and has me torn as this should be a high-scoring affair and Florida State will be playing with an emotional rush after their upset no doubt. Duke had a 12-point victory over Syracuse in the Quarterfinals Thursday and is 17-16-0 ATS this season.
The key to this game is Williamson. I know you're shocked to hear that. Since returning from injury, he's playing like a man possessed. In two games, Williamson has 60 points while hitting 26/32 field goals. He has a massive 25 rebounds to go along with 6 steals. He's tough to bet against right now.
