Esten McLaren
Sportsbook Wire

The Los Angeles Clippers will play their 81st game of the 2018-19 regular season Sunday as they pay a visit to the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors can secure the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference with two games remaining on their schedule after Sunday. Tip-off comes just past 8:30 p.m. Eastern.

Sunday's contest also marks the Warriors' final regular-season game at Oakland's Oracle Arena before they move to the Chase Center in San Francisco to begin the 2019-20 campaign.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors: By the Numbers

  • The Warriors' magic number to clinch home-court advantage is one, needing a single win or one Denver Nuggets loss. Both teams come into Sunday with three games remaining.
  • Los Angeles is 7-3 in its last 10 entering Sunday and Golden State has gone 8-2.
  • The Warriors hold a 2-1 advantage in the season series with their eight-point victory on Jan. 21 representing the most lopsided matchup between the two. They played to the over in two of the three.
  • Golden State covered the spread and played to the under in three straight before failing to cover and going over the number in a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Friday.
  • The Clippers have lost three of their last five, going over the total in each of those games.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors: Key Injuries

Clippers PF JaMychal Green sat out Friday's game following the birth of his child. It's unknown whether he'll return Sunday. PG Patrick Beverley is doubtful due to a hip injury.

The Warriors' carousel of rest is likely to keep SF Andre Iguodala sidelined Sunday. C DeMarcus Cousins sat out Friday but could draw back in for the home finale.

Moneyline: The Warriors are listed at -1100 for the outright win. This late in the season, it would typically be smart to take the Clippers on the other side at an appealing +680 considering they're also bound for the playoffs, but with home court still up in the air and the game having sentimental importance, the home team has to be trusted. We'll leave that number alone.

Against the spread: The Clippers are -110 to cover +13.5. Expect this one to stay relatively tight as the Warriors are still likely to rest veterans and stars later in the game if they build a lead.

Over/under: The line is 235.5 and shares the honor for highest number on Sunday's 14-game slate. It's a number the Warriors have topped in just one of their last 16, while the Clippers have done it in four of their last five. We'll take the UNDER at -110 as the home team dictates the pace.
