Oklahoma City Thunder at Portland Trail Blazers: By the Numbers

  • The Thunder swept the season series but all four games were decided by fewer than 10 points.
  • Portland closed the regular season going 8-2 over its final 10 games. It went just 5-5 against the spread over that time but was 24-16-1 ATS at home over the regular season.

  • The Blazers and Thunder ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, in points per game this year.

Trail Blazers PG Damian Lillard and SG C.J. McCollum are good to go for Game 1, but C Jusuf Nurkic will miss the whole postseason after undergoing leg surgery.

Thunder SF Paul George is day-to-day heading into Sunday's series opener due to a right shoulder injury. He's expected to suit up in the end, as is C Steven Adams.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Portland Trail Blazers: Best Bet

Moneyline:Portland is listed as an underdog in the series but they open Game 1 as -155 favorites. This is a good number for the home team with or without George available for the other side.

Against the spread: Better odds exist at -110 for the Trail Blazers to cover -3. The regular-season series was played extremely tight, but we'll still back the home squad.

Over/under: The total of 225 is the highest of Sunday's four-game slate and pays -110 on either side. The two teams blew past that number in three of four meetings in the regular season. Take the OVER.
