Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics: By the Numbers

  • Boston won a low-scoring Game 1 by a score of 84-74 at the Garden Sunday. PG Kyrie Irving and PF Marcus Morris each scored 20 points for the Celtics, while backup PG Cory Joseph led the Pacers with just 14.
  • The Celtics committed 17 turnovers to the Pacers' 13, but Indiana went just 12-for-21 from the free throw line as a team en route to defeat.

  • Indiana was 10-3 with two days rest this season while the Celtics were 9-4.
  • Dating back to the regular season series, the Pacers are just 1-4 against the Celtics this year.

Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics: Key Injuries

Pacers SG Victor Oladipo and Celtics SG Marcus Smart each remain out and won't be returning for this series. Oladipo is out for the year and Smart may be able to return in mid-May.

Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics: Best Bet

Moneyline: The Celtics are -330 at home while going for the 2-0 series lead. With an absurdly low score in Game 1, whichever team is able to get hot for a short stretch will be capable of coming away with the victory Wednesday. The Pacers are worth taking at +265.

Against the spread: The safer play is backing Indiana at -110 to cover + 7.5 after Game 1 was decided by 10 points as a result of the Pacers' miserable performance from the charity stripe.

Over/under: Wednesday's total has plummeted down to 203 following the Game 1 snoozer. This leaves us 45 points of breathing room while we take the UNDER at -110.
