The second-round of the 2018-19 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs begins tonight, following the Carolina Hurricanes knocking off the Washington Capitals in double-overtime during Wednesday's Game 7 series finale.

Stanley Cup Champion Odds Thoughts and NHL Betting Tips
As you can see above, there was some movement beyond just the Carolina Hurricanes ( +750 from +1700) decreasing in return. The oddsmakers decreased San Jose ( +500) and Columbus ( +700) slightly.
The Boston Bruins ( +460) are now the favorite to win this year's Stanley Cup Championship after sharing the same odds with the San Jose Sharks yesterday.
As for betting on the remainder of the playoffs, casting a net is not a bad philosophy. Each of the teams provides plenty of upside in value at this point, although few are as attractive as they were a few days ago. Timing is everything in life, isn't it?
