Prediction

Thunder 112, Spurs 101

Moneyline (ML)

Each team comes into Sunday's game having won back-to-back games, the first of which for the Spurs (+165) came against the Thunder (-200) in the game before the All-Star break. The 114-106 win for the Spurs gave them a 2-1 lead over the Thunder in the season series and came despite Thunder PG Chris Paul's 31-point performance.

Paul has played well against the Spurs in his career-his 18.8 points and 8.1 assists per game are better than his career averages. I expect Paul to have another quality start against the Spurs and for him to get enough help to get past the Spurs Sunday.

PASS ON THE MONEYLINE though because the -200 odds for the Thunder to win are too chalky.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The THUNDER (-5.5, -106) have the best against the spread record in the NBA (26-11) versus conference opponents whereas the Spurs (+5.5, -115) are in the bottom-10 of the NBA with a 13-19-1 ATS record against the West. Also, San Antonio comes into Sunday games sluggish and the Thunder are 7-0 ATS in their last seven Sunday games.

The Spurs average 113.2 PPG to rank 10th in the NBA but their average drops tp just 102.4 PPG on Sundays. The Thunder should be dialed into this matchup since dropping their last meeting.

BET THUNDER -5.5 (-106) to win by at least 6 points.

Over/Under (O/U)

The silver lining to the Spurs' offensive struggles on Sundays is that they allow just 110.2 PPG on Sundays, as well. Their defense is ranked 22nd in opponent points per game which contributes to the Spurs' 33-21-1 Over/Under record. San Antonio's O/U record is 1-7 in its last eight Sunday games and the Thunder's O/U record is 0-3-1 in their last four games as a home favorite. Plus, t he Under is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings in Oklahoma City.

TAKE UNDER 221.5 (-110).
