Prediction

Blue Jays 3, Mets 2

Moneyline (ML)

The Mets (-200) are favored as usual with deGrom on the mound; however, his 4 no-decisions this year give hope to underdog bettors. The BLUE JAYS (+175) are expected to get some reinforcements with Bichette and Giles possibilities to return.

Bichette was slashing .361/.391/.672 through 14 games with 5 home runs and 4 stolen bases before hitting the injured list. Giles pitched just 1 2/3 innings before going on the IL but could return to anchor a bullpen ranked third in baseball with a 3.27 ERA.

Take TORONTO (+175) at "home" as a great value play.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Blue Jays to win would return a profit of $17.50.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)

There's still value on the BLUE JAYS +1.5 (+105) while being spotted a run. Should they lose by no more than 1 run or win outright, a $10 run line bet would return a profit of $10.50.

Three of Toronto's four losses in games started by Anderson were decided by margins of just one run.

Over/Under (O/U)

Lean to the UNDER 8.5 (-110). The Blue Jays are 18-22-3 against the Over/Under this year while the Mets are 23-20-1.

DeGrom starting for New York and the strong Toronto bullpen should keep this one below the projected total.
