NFL Prop Bet Payday - 5 Monday Night Football prop bets to make in Week 3

One of the best games of the year will happen on Monday Night Football in Week 3 as the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Baltimore Ravens in what could be a preview of the AFC Championship game. To prepare you, here are five Week 3 MNF prop bets to make at BetMGM.

Monday Night Football Prop Bets - Week 3

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports' betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10:50 a.m. ET.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes OVER 1.5 passing touchdowns (-182)

The Chiefs likely won't have a ton of success rushing the ball against the Ravens' stout defensive line, so expect Kansas City to put the ball into the hands of its superstar quarterback. In 33 career regular-season starts, Mahomes has thrown two or more touchdowns in 23 games.

Considering how high-scoring this game figures to be, don't be surprised if he reaches two passing touchdowns by halftime.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson OVER 249.5 passing yards (-112)

If this game turns into a shootout as so many expect, that means Jackson is going to need to make plays with his arm. That shouldn't be a problem for him at all as he can attack Kansas City's weak linebacker corps in pass coverage.

Jackson doesn't always go over 250 passing yards, but the Ravens rarely face teams that can keep up scoring-wise with them. Expect Kansas City to score enough to allow Jackson to throw a bunch in this contest.

Ravens WR Marquise Brown OVER 21.5 yards for longest reception (-112)

If you expect Jackson to throw a bunch as we mentioned above, consider betting on "Hollywood" Brown to record at least one reception of 22 yards. He's the team's most explosive receiver and should have a favorable matchup on the outside against either one of the Chiefs' starting cornerbacks.

Baltimore will try to design plays to get him in space and he could hit a few home runs on Monday Night Football.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire to score and KC to win (+760)

Now it's time for the long-shot bets. The Chiefs are slight underdogs on the road this week, but they could easily win this game given that they are the defending Super Bowl champions. It's not hard to imagine a scenario in which RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire gets into the end zone at least once.

At +760, the Chiefs to win and CEH to score is an excellent bet and one that seems very likely. This is too good of a prop bet to pass up, even if you think Baltimore should win this contest.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Ravens QB Lamar Jackson to score a rushing TD (+1000)

Finally, we are looking at a real long-shot prop bet and that is both Mahomes and Jackson to score a rushing touchdown. Jackson is far more likely to score in this contest, but if each team reaches 30 or more points, there will certainly be a ton of chances for each player to get into the end zone.

Both Mahomes and Jackson are proven runners and are playing in aggressive offenses. At 10-1 odds, this is a fun bet on both quarterbacks that will keep you entertained all game long.
