Jets at Patriots: Game notes
- After opening the season 0-13 SU, the Jets have rattled off two straight wins against playoff contenders. They're also a respectable 3-1 ATS across the past four, and 5-2 ATS over the previous seven outings. The Under has also hit in three in a row for Gang Green.
- These two teams met in East Rutherford in Week 9, with the Patriots squeaking out a 30-27 win, while the Jets grabbed the cover as nine-point underdogs and the Over (42) connected.
- The Patriots are officially eliminated from playoff contention, and a power outage on offense lately has been a big reason why. They are averaging just 8.0 PPG across the past three games while going 0-3 SU/ATS. The Under has cashed in seven in a row for New England.
- New York has covered in just five of the past 18 games inside the NFC East Division while going 4-10 ATS across the past 14 games overall.
- The Patriots have failed to cover in each of its past five as a favorite, while going 2-6-1 ATS in the past nine as a home favorite. The Patriots are 3-1-1 ATS in the past five at home against the Jets, with the home side going 8-3-1 ATS in the past 12 meetings.

The strangest thing to happen in the 2020-21 NFL season might be the fact the JETS (+130) are playing better ball than the Patriots (-155) to wrap up the regular season. Roll with New York, as they're a decent value at plus-money.
Against the spread ( ?)
The JETS +3 ( -110) are a good play catching a field goal if you're not feeling them straight up. However, with the points they're not nearly as good of a value. New York's offense has been playing good ball, winning against the Rams and Browns over the past two weekends, while the Patriots -3 (-110) have averaged just 8.0 PPG on offense in the previous three games.
Over/Under ( ?)
The 39.5-point total (Over: -110/Under: -110) is going to be too close to call. If there was a lean, it would be ever so slightly to the Under based upon New England's struggles on offense lately. However, the last time these teams met, they went for 57 total points. The best play is to AVOID.
