- Michigan ranks third in the conference in scoring (82.6 PPG). Over their last three games, the Wolverines have shot a robust 52.9% from the field. For the season, UM ranks second in the league in effective field-goal percentage and first in the Big Ten in free-throw percentage.

Minnesota figures as a team not destined to stay in the top 25, but the Gophers have played the tougher schedule thus far. A return to an average sort of 3-point game (the Gophers have thus far been a high-frequency disappointment from distance) making the visitors dangerous enough in this spot.

Against the spread (ATS)
The Wolverines are the more likable team. The plus side of 9.5 points is the more likable line.
TAKE THE GOPHERS +7.5 (-110). It's a line a couple points out of phase with the market and one to leverage early.
