The Nuggets (-200) will cost you twice as much as your potential return, which is a little much since the Warriors (+165) have been playing much better than last season, and they're above .500.
AVOID, and look to the spread instead.
Against the spread (ATS)
The NUGGETS -5.5 (+100) are a strong choice, especially at even money. While the Warriors +5.5 (-120) have failed to cover in consecutive games just once this season, the first three outings. All of those games were on the road, and they're just 2-2 SU/1-3 ATS in four outings away from the Bay Area this season. While the Warriors are 5-0 ATS in the past five meetings, and the Nuggets are just 1-5-1 ATS in the past seven at home, play Denver due to Golden State's struggles on the road.
Over/Under (O/U)
OVER 227.5 (-115) is the way to go, especially after dropping a couple of points. The over has hit in eight of the past 11 meetings in the Mile High City. The Over is also 4-1 in Golden State's past five after a straight up loss, while hitting in 12 of the past 16 for Denver against teams with a winning overall record. The Over is also an impressive 9-0 in Denver's past nine while playing on one day of rest.
