Red Wings at Panthers: Projected starting goalies
Thomas Greiss (1-7-2, 3.00 GAA, .903 SV%) vs. Sergei Bobrovsky (3-0-1, 3.57 GAA, .881 SV%)
Greiss finally was rewarded with a victory in the front end of this two-game set, stopping 36 of 37 shots in a 4-1 win Sunday in Sunrise, Fla. He dealt the Panthers their first setback in regulation this season. Greiss has been sharp, allowing three or fewer goals in each of his 10 appearances to date.
Bobrovsky will be looking to bounce back after allowing six goals on 41 shots in a 6-5 overtime loss against the Nashville Predators in his most recent appearance. It was his first setback in four starts. He has allowed three or more goals in three of his four appearances, but the Panthers have provided 4.3 goals per game in offensive support to give him a nice boost.

Money line (ML)
The Panthers (-250) have revenge on their minds after getting dumped on home ice by a 4-1 score against the lowly Red Wings. However, you can't risk two and a half times your potential return as it's a poor long-term betting strategy. Look to the puck line instead. PASS.

Against the spread (ATS)
The PANTHERS -1.5 (+115) are plus-money on the puck line, which is a much better value than the money line. Yes, Greiss shut them down last time out, and he has yielded three or fewer goals in each of his outings to date. But Florida will find a way behind Bob, splitting this two-game set.
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 5.5 (+100) is worth a small-unit play here. Confidence is not high as the Florida offense has been high-flying, but Greiss has shut everyone down this season, and certainly has deserved more than the one win in 10 appearances. He will keep the Panthers offense at bay, and the Red Wings offense won't be nearly as prolific as Sunday's showing.
