- The Bulldogs are coming off a 73-70 win over visiting Vanderbilt Saturday. The victory - logged in part by the strength of a 58.7% shooting performance - marked UGA's third in a row. The Bulldogs are 5-2 since dropping four straight from Dec. 30-Jan. 13.
- The Volunteers are coming off a hard-fought 82-71 win over Kentucky Saturday. Tennessee rallied from being down 10 with 12 minutes to play in that contest. Freshman G Keon Johnson scored a season-high 27 points to lead the Vols.
- Tennessee is playing in Knoxville for the first time since Jan. 30. Over their last seven games on home hardwood, UT is just 5-2 straight up and 2-5 against the spread.
