The Lakers were tripped up by the Denver Nuggets on Valentine's Day after winning seven straight games. On that same night, the Timberwolves knocked off the Toronto Raptors for their first win in five games.
Los Angeles will get back on track against a struggling Minnesota team with a win Tuesday night. Even without Davis, the Lakers will be too much for the T-Wolves, who are just 25th in the NBA in scoring (108.2 points per game). Take the LAKERS (-280) to win outright.

Against the spread (ATS)
Even though the Timberwolves are just 7-20 this season, they've been good against the spread. They're 14-12-1 ATS, including a current 7-1-1 stretch. The Lakers, on the other hand, have struggled to cover the spread lately, going just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 and 1-4 in their last five - albeit, mostly as big favorites.
