- Gonzaga is undefeated this season and hasn't lost since Feb. 22, 2020. With the format of this year's WCC tournament, the Bulldogs haven't played a game since Feb. 27. During the regular season, Gonzaga's longest layoff was a 16-day, COVID-related hiatus from Dec. 3-18. GU came out of that stretch with an impressive 99-88 win over Iowa Dec. 19.
- St. Mary's advanced to Monday's contest with a Saturday win over Loyola Marymount. The Gaels won that game, 52-47, marking their third straight under-60 outing. For the season, St. Mary's is averaging 64.5 points per game (10th WCC, 319th NCAA-I).
