Vasilevskiy, who has three shutouts this season, has won all three of his starts against Detroit. Prior to giving up 3 goals Tuesday, he allowed a total of just 2 in his previous two matchups. Vasilevskiy has won his last seven starts, with two shutouts in that span.
This will be Bernier's first game against Tampa Bay this season. He lost his past two starts against the Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes, allowing 8 total goals. He has given up at least 2 goals in each of his past five games.

The Wings have lost four straight games and, as noted, the Lightning have had their number for years. While the Red Wings came close Tuesday and would turn a nice profit with an upset win, they were coming off four days of rest and are simply overmatched across the board.
Don't look for Tampa Bay (-390) to underestimate them tonight, but risking almost four times what you'll win isn't smart betting. PASS on the ML.

Against the spread (ATS)
I lean TAMPA BAY -1.5 (-125) here to win by at least 2 goals for one unit. Tampa Bay is 14-10 ATS this season, while the Red Wings are 15-12.
