Colorado vs. Georgetown odds: Colorado favored in March Madness Round 1
The No. 5 Colorado Buffaloes (22-8) tangle with the No. 12 Georgetown Hoyas (13-12) during the first round of the March Madness tournament. The two meet in the first game Saturday, March 20, scheduled for 12:15 p.m. ET at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will be carried by CBS.

Colorado, who lost the Pac-12 championship to Oregon State, is an at-large addition to this year's tournament; the last time they were in it was 2016 when they lost to Connecticut in the first round.
The Buffaloes are led by PG McKinley Wright IV, who is in his first NCAA Tournament. Colorado is 17-13-0 in games ATS this season, while 11-18-1 vs. the Over/Under. The oddsmakers have this one looking like a potentially close game, as Colorado is favored by just 4.5 points over Georgetown.

Led by coach Patrick Ewing, the Hoyas return to the Big Dance for the first time since 2015, when they lost to Utah in the second round. While in the lower half of the bracket, the Big East champion has been a scrappy foe despite flirting with a .500 record.
The Hoyas just shut down No. 5 Creighton in a 73-48 victory Saturday, so they've shown they can play with other teams in the Tournament.
Georgetown averaged 71.7 points per game while allowing 73.4 during the regular season. Georgetown had a winning ATS record (16-9-0) while playing in more Unders this season (11-14 O/U).
