Thunder at Timberwolves: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Thunder 120, Timberwolves 117

Money line (ML)

The Wolves have been the worst team in the league and still have the worst record in all over basketball. However, they have not had consecutive losses since before the All-Star Break.

The Thunder are on the second night of a back-to-back, barely beating the Houston Rockets, who have lost 20 straight games.

This is only the fourth time Minnesota is favored in a game. They have gone 2-1 in the other three, and they are 1-7 this season with a rest advantage.

Take the THUNDER (+125).

Against the spread (ATS)

The Wolves are 18-23-1 ATS this season while the Thunder are 22-19-1. The Wolves are 4-2 ATS since the All-Star break but are also 1-7 ATS when they have the rest advantage like tonight. While they are playing better, they still aren't trustworthy enough to wager on consistently.

Take the THUNDER +3 (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

Four of the last six have gone Over the total for the Thunder. Three of the last five and eight of the last 12 have gone Over for Minnesota.

The Timberwolves have not had two consecutive games go Under the total in a month and their last game went Under.

Take OVER 227.5 (-110).
