The Cleveland Cavaliers (21-37) and Charlotte Hornets (28-30) will square off Friday night at Spectrum Center. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. ET from Charlotte. Below, we analyze the Cavaliers-Hornets odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Cavs snapped their three-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 121-105 win over the Chicago Bulls. They're still just 2-5 in their last seven games, however. PG Collin Sexton leads the team in scoring at 24.4 points per game, including a recent stretch averaging 26.8 PPG in his last 10 games played.

The Hornets have really struggled in the last two weeks, going just 1-6 in their last seven. Injuries have derailed Charlotte in April, as many of their top players remain sidelined - including PG LaMelo Ball and SF Gordon Hayward. The Hornets have only covered the spread once in their last seven games, too, having trouble keeping games close.

The Hornets are limping into this one having lost their last two games by an average of 14.5 points. It's also their third game in four days, coming off a loss to the Bulls Thursday night.

The Cavaliers just beat Chicago by 16 Wednesday and may have some momentum coming into this one, even if only slightly. I like the CAVALIERS (+110) to win straight up.

Against the spread (ATS)

The Cavaliers are getting 2 points from the Hornets, being listed as slight underdogs. They're 3-4 SU in their last seven games as an underdog and are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 contests.
