Los Angeles Lakers at Orlando Magic odds, picks and prediction

The Los Angeles Lakers (35-25) will try to end their three-game losing streak on Monday night when they travel east to take on the Orlando Magic (18-42) at Amway Center, with tip-off set for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Lakers-Magic odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Lakers have lost three straight, the last two of which came on the road against the Mavericks.

They've been without LeBron James since March 21 when he suffered an ankle injury, winning just seven of the 18 games they've played without him. Anthony Davis is back healthy, however, giving the Lakers a boost on both ends of the floor.

The Magic are 14th in the East right now, a half-game ahead of the last-place Pistons. They've lost five in a row and have won just one of their last 12 games, with seven of their last nine losses coming by double digits.

Like the Lakers, Orlando is also banged up, missing several key players throughout the year - primarily Markelle Fultz, who's out been out since January.

Lakers at Magic: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Lakers 115, Magic 100

Money line (ML)

As heavily favored as the Lakers are, I'm not going to touch the money line in this game. At -500, there's so little reward that comes with a wager on the Lakers, and they've been far too inconsistent to trust right now.

Against the spread (ATS)

The Magic have been atrocious against the spread lately, covering only once in their last eight games and none in their last five.

The Lakers have just been mediocre against the spread, going 5-5 in their last 10, but I still like them to beat the Magic by double-digits, as so many other teams have lately.

Bet on the LAKERS -10 (-110) tonight on the road.

Over/Under (O/U)

Even though the Magic have been scoring at a very low clip lately, the total has managed to go Over in six of their last seven games.

Their struggles on defense could lead to some easier buckets for the Lakers, and thus a point total that goes Over the line of 208.5 points.

Bet the OVER 208.5 (-115).
