UFC on ESPN 23 Reyes vs. Prochazka: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Reyes 12-2-0 | Prochazka 27-3-1

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

REYES (+105) lost his last two fights, with a pair of title fights against Jon Jones and Jan Blachowicz. He was knocked out by the latter at UFC 253 (Sept. 26, 2020). While he is a slight underdog here, he is a good play. The two losses were the first of his professional career.

Prochazka made his UFC debut with a second-round KO/TKO of Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 251 in July. While "Denisa" has been a knockout machine, something Reyes needs to be on the lookout for, Reyes is by far the best fighter he has faced to date. Reyes can throw hands with Prochazka in a potential brawl, as he lands 4.53 strikes per minute.

Over/Under (O/U)

Two of the last three fights for Reyes finished inside the distance, with five of his eight fights at the UFC level ending via stoppage. For Prochazka, he has won nine straight professional bouts, all by way of KO/TKO. In 26 of Prochazka's 31 fights, he hasn't even fought into the second round, so this won't be going long.

OVER 1.5 ROUNDS (-155) is worth a look, as these fighters will take a little while to feel each other out.

UNDER 2.5 ROUNDS (-165) is also a good play, as neither likes to go the distance.

No (-385): Will the fight go the distance? isn't worth the risk at nearly four and a half times your potential return.
