The playoff-bound Dallas Mavericks (41-29) play their final home game of the 2020-21 regular season Friday against the Toronto Raptors (27-43). Tip-off at American Airlines Center will be shortly after 9 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Raptors-Mavericks odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.

The Raptors limp into Dallas on a five-game losing skid after falling 114-102 to the Chicago Bulls Thursday. They'll finish their regular season Sunday in a home game against the Indiana Pacers.

Dallas won 11 of its last 14 games and is coming off Wednesday's 125-107 home win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Mavs are fifth in the Western Conference and remain motivated to stay ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers. They'll finish the regular season Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Raptors received a career-high 35 points from SG Stanley Johnson Thursday and still took a double-digit loss against the 11th-place Bulls. The Mavericks will roll to victory with a rest advantage Friday but the -900 odds are far too chalky.

Against the spread (ATS)

Bet the MAVERICKS -13.5 (-110) to win by at least 14 points as they fight to retain the West's fifth seed.

Toronto has taken three straight losses by at least 10 points and continues to rest all key starters to finish the season.

Dallas is 23-13 straight up since the All-Star break and 6-2 in May. Each of its last three wins was by at least 18 points.

Over/Under (O/U)
