RHP Spencer Turnbull is the projected starter for the Tigers. He is 3-2 with a 3.12 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 7.6 K/9, and 2.0 BB/9 in 40 1/3 IP over 7 starts.
Turnbull logged an iffy effort against the Yankees on May 1 (4 ER in 5 IP), but he's been quite good in 3 of 4 starts since, including a no-hitter at Seattle on May 18. The Bengal righty is facing a banged-up Yankees nine which has managed all of a .669 OPS over the last week.

PASS. The Tigers took Friday's series opener on a 10th-inning walk-off home run. With a bit of fade to Turnbull's numbers (on the grounds of some BABIP and HR/FB% luck), some play to New York's batting numbers, and the visiting nine having much the better bullpen, the Yankees are the play.
However, you can look to the run line for better value on a wind-out day ripe for a double-digit total.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)
Garcia may be too much of an unknown quantity to stake a full unit on NEW YORK -1.5 (+125).
That said, the 22-year-old right-hander can spin the cowhide, and it seems to be off-speed spin rate, and the new ball that plays to that spin, that has Major League Baseball looking like its 1968 incarnation at times this season.
Over/Under (O/U)
BACK THE OVER 8 (-120) on a slight lean. The forecast calls for a 15-mile-an-hour wind blowing out to right field. Current Yankee bats own an .847 OPS against Turnbull, and New York got to him for 8 base runners (and 4 ER) in 5 IP on May 1.
