Marquez is coming off one of his most impressive starts of the season allowing just one hit and three walks across six scoreless innings against Milwaukee Thursday. It was that much more impressive since it was at high altitude in Denver.
LHP Justus Sheffield is the projected starting pitcher for the Mariners. He is 5-6 with a 5.65 ERA, 1.66 WHIP, 6.9 K/9 and 3.7 BB/9 in 63 2/3 IP over 12 starts.
Sheffield was toasted for seven runs and 10 hits in just five innings in a loss at home against Minnesota last Wednesday. He has served up two home runs in each of his past three outings turning in a 7.98 ERA in three June starts.

Run line/Against the spread (ATS)
The ROCKIES -1.5 (+140) are worth a look. While generally it's rather risky behavior betting road teams laying the run-and-a-half, Sheffield has served up six homers in just the last 14 2/3 innings. That makes Colorado a good bet.
Over/Under (O/U)
The OVER 8.5 (-105) is worth a small-unit play, but I am not feeling the Seattle offense. As long as they can tap the plate at least twice, the Colorado bats should be able to take care of the rest.
