The Kansas City Chiefs once again head into the campaign as the Super Bowl favorites, with the 2021 Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers right behind. The 2021 season will begin Thursday, Sept. 9, when the Dallas Cowboys visit the Buccaneers. The Big Game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022, after the first 17-game NFL regular season. Super Bowl LVI will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., and will be televised on NBC.
The Buccaneers handily beat the 2020 Super Bowl champion Chiefs 31-9 at their home field of Raymond James Stadium. Buccaneers QB Tom Brady was named Super Bowl MVP while throwing for 201 yards and 3 touchdowns without an interception in the rout.
