The Washington Football Team (1-2) have a road game against the Atlanta Falcons (1-2) in Week 4 as both teams seek to even their records. Kickoff from Mercedes-Benz Superdome is 1 p.m. ET Sunday. Atlanta picked up its first win of the year with a 17-14 road victory over the New York Giants on a 40-yard field goal as time expired. QB Matt Ryan passed for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Washington at Falcons head-to-head

This will be the first time the two teams face one another since 2018. Washington leads the all-time series 15-10-1, but the Falcons have won the last six matchups. The last time Washington beat the Falcons was on the road in 2003.

Ryan has never lost to Washington in five starts. He has completed 67.01% of his passes for 1,294, 8 touchdowns and 6 interceptions while being sacked 12 times across those games.

Heinicke lost 24-10 in his lone career start against the Falcons in 2018 when he was a member of the Carolina Panthers. He was intercepted 3 times in the defeat.
