The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (5-0, 1-0 Sun Belt) travel to take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves (1-4, 0-1) Thursday. Kickoff from Centennial Bank Stadium is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Coastal Carolina, ranked No. 15 in the USA Today Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, is led by Sophomore QB Grayson McCall who is 48th in the nation in passing yards. The Chanticleers have overpowered opponents as they've scored 49 or more points in four of their five games.
That will haunt the Arkansas State defensive coordinator David Duggan as the Red Wolves have given up more than 41 points in four straight games. Arkansas State was able to go toe-to-toe with Memphis in the second week of the season as QBs James Blackman and Layne Hatcher both threw for over 275 yards, and they'll need that level of production again as the Wolves enter as heavy home underdogs.

Money line
PASS on the money line.
While Coastal Carolina is the strong favorite, putting more than 10 times your money on the line for one unit of return is never worth it. Tossing the money line in a parlay isn't an awful idea, just to boost the odds a tad bit, but it's still not recommended.
Against the spread
BET on COASTAL CAROLINA -19.5 (-110) as a great value. Coastal has been hot lately and will be looking to continue its bid as a top non-Power 5 side.
Coastal beat LA-Monroe by 53 and UMass by 50 in its last two games. While the two sides don't have any common opponents, Arkansas State is coming off a 26-point loss to GA Southern.
The Chanticleers have taken over games defensively lately as they've allowed just 9 total points in the last two weeks, and I expect a blowout victory for the road side.
Coastal has won four of its five games this season by 20 or more points, and Arkansas State will not be one of its top opponents. The Chanticleers' balanced attack should prove too overpowering for a flimsy Wolves' side.
Over/Under
"LEAN" to the UNDER 72.5 (-105) as the better value.
It's a tough total as both teams have high-octane offenses, but Coastal has been locking opponents up. It's yet to allow a team over 25 points and has held three of its five opponents to under 15.
While Arkansas State has scored 30 or more in four games, against Washington - the best opponents it's faced - the Wolves put up just 3. Taking on a team looking for dominating victories, this has the feel of a Coastal blowout.
If that's the case, expect another strong defensive showing. Coastal will get on the board often, but the total should still go Under if their defense can hold up, which it's proven it can do.
