Buffalo overcame a slow start to secure a 26-11 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. Things were tied 3-3 at halftime before Buffalo pulled ahead in the third quarter on a QB Josh Allen touchdown pass to WR Gabriel Davis.
Allen completed his second TD pass to WR Stefon Diggs in the final frame and added a rushing score with just over a minute remaining in regulation as he finished the day with 249 passing yards and 2 passing TDs and led the team with 55 rushing yards a score.

Jacksonville was absolutely stymied in a 31-7 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks in their Week 8 matchup. The Jags narrowly avoided being shut out on the day as QB Trevor Lawrence connected with WR Jamal Agnew for a touchdown with just under 2 minutes remaining in regulation.

Lawrence finished with 238 yards and 1 touchdown against 1 interception. The Jags were without star RB James Robinson for the final three quarters of the game as he was sidelined with a bruised heel. Robinson's availability for the meeting with the Bills remains uncertain.

Bills at Jaguars head-to-head
The Bills and Jaguars have linked up 17 times since 1996 with Buffalo holding a narrow 9-8 lead in the all-time series. They met most recently in 2018 when the Jaguars took a 24-21 loss on the road at New Era Field (now Highmark Stadium).
