Underdog Corner: 3 best NFL picks and predictions for Week 14

After a 1-2 Week 12, we bounced back to the positive side of the ledger, hitting on two of our three underdog selections in Week 13.

The week did get off to a tough start with the banged-up New Orleans Saints failing to cover last Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys, but we finished strong Sunday with our underdog picks of Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks both winning outright.

That puts the Underdog Corner season record at a very profitable 27-12 (.692) against the spread with 23 of those 27 winning straight-up as well.

Baltimore Ravens +2.5 (+102) at Cleveland Browns

These AFC North rivals met two weeks ago in Baltimore, and the hosts won and covered 16-10 despite a career-high four interceptions from QB Lamar Jackson.

Baltimore has since lost top cornerback Marlon Humphrey to injury for the remainder of the season, but the Browns aren't in the best position to take advantage with QB Baker Mayfield clearly playing compromised since his early season shoulder injury.

We'll bank on Jackson playing a much cleaner game than the first meeting, and the RAVENS (+2.5) notching their sixth win in their last seven games against the Browns.

Washington Football Team +4.5 (-115) vs. Dallas Cowboys

The WFT swept this series a season ago in dominating fashion, posting 25-3 and 41-16 victories en route to the NFC East title.

Those Cowboys' losses, though, were without injured QB Dak Prescott, but Dak and Co. have struggled of late this season, dropping three of their last five games.

Meanwhile, underrated QB Taylor Heinicke and an improving defense have fueled a four-game win streak for Washington, which has quietly crept within two games of Dallas' division lead.

The Cowboys likely will end Washington's run Sunday, but a spread north of a field goal is simply too much for how these teams have been playing over the last month. Take WASHINGTON (+4.5) and the points at home.

Buffalo Bills +3.5 (-115) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bills were pushed around in the wind and cold Monday night in a 14-10 loss to the visiting New England Patriots. Now they get a road game against another nemesis, ex-Pats QB Tom Brady, but the playing conditions will be much more favorable for Josh Allen and the aerial-oriented Bills.

The Bucs have won eight straight at home, including February's Super Bowl romp, but the Bills have bounced back impressively from each of their previous four losses this season, going 4-0 and winning by an average margin of 25.8 points (3-0-1 ATS).

Brady and the Bucs certainly will be the toughest bounce-back test yet, but we'll bank on the BILLS (+3.5) to at least keep things close and cover.
