First look: Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets odds and lines
In a matchup between two teams that have struggled all season long, the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-12) will head north to take on the New York Jets (3-11) at MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET in this Week 16 tilt. Below, we look at the Jaguars vs. Jets odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.
The Jaguars have lost six straight games and recently fired head coach Urban Meyer last week. They lost their first game without him Sunday against the Houston Texans, falling 30-16 despite being favored by six points.
Jacksonville hasn't scored more than 17 points since Oct. 17 against the Dolphins, ranking last in the NFL in points and 30th in yards.
The Jets have lost three straight and six of their last seven, only scoring an average of 17.9 points per game this season - 27th in the NFL. They came up short against the Dolphins Sunday, losing 31-24 on the road.
Rookie QB Zach Wilson has endured an especially tough season, throwing only six touchdown passes and 11 interceptions, while the running game hasn't provided much, either.

Jaguars at Jets head-to-head
The Jets and Jaguars have only met 15 times dating back to 1995 and it's been a fairly even split between the two teams. The Jaguars hold a slight edge with eight wins and seven losses, winning each of the last two games fairly easily.
The Jaguars have outscored the Jets 60-27 in their last two meetings, snapping a four-game losing streak to New York.
In their last 10 meetings, the series is split evenly 5-5, but the Jaguars are 7-3 ATS and the total has gone over seven times in that span.
