Kansas is coming off an unexpectedly tense 80-72 win over Stephen F. Austin Saturday. The Jayhawks played much of the contest leading by 5 points or less and were up by just 1 (69-68) with 3:23 remaining. It was the Jayhawks' fifth win a row since losing to Dayton 74-73 on a neutral floor Nov. 26.
The Buffaloes dropped back-to-back games against ranked foes - now-No. 6 UCLA and No. 19 Tennessee - to kick off December. But they bounced back nicely and won three in a row, holding opponents to 52.3 points per game on a 34.5 field-goal percentage in the three wins.

Against the spread
The Buffaloes are 2-8-2 ATS this season.
Colorado is a youthful squad which has - other then its recent losses to ULCA and Tennessee - played an easy schedule so far. Recent plodding-pace contests don't figure as adequate prep for this one against a higher caliber of play.
The Jayhawks' ability on the boards and their ability to be diverse in their attack figure to overwhelm the home five in this spot.

The Over is 9-0 in the Jayhawks' last nine road games vs. teams with a winning home records.
