The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-12) travel to meet the New York Jets (3-11) for a Week 16 game Sunday at Met Life Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Jaguars vs. Jets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Jaguars were humbled 30-16 at home by the Houston Texans last week in a battle of cellar dwellers. The only thing surprising about the outcome was an Over result that snapped an 8-0 Under streak by the Jags.

The Jets put up a fight in South Florida, falling 31-24 to the red-hot Miami Dolphins last weekend. The Jets are a respectable 2-2 ATS across their last four, including an outright win in Houston in Week 12.

Jets 20, Jaguars 12

Money line

The JETS (-130) are a much better team than their record indicates, and they've been playing hard for head coach Robert Saleh down the stretch, even in losses. New York has a little bit of a COVID issue that hurts its depth, but it'll be able to scratch out a low-scoring victory here.

The Jaguars are in position for the No. 1 overall draft pick again, and they're playing under an interim coach. They won't be keen on trying to win things and ruin the draft position.

Against the spread

The JETS -2.5 (-110) is an even better value than the money line and might be the easiest money you'll make all week.

Over/Under

The best play on the board might be the UNDER 41.5 (-115) in this battle of the dregs. Jacksonville is scoring an NFL-low 14.0 PPG while hitting the Under in eight of its last nine games. The Jets are posting 17.9 PPG, although the D has been a little loose. Still, the Jags likely won't be interested in airing it out and trying to win this game.
