LEAN to the red-hot ANGELS (-135) because this is a toss-up game but the market has steamed L.A.'s ML up by a -115 opener.
The Angels are 7-2 overall vs. left-handed starters and the Rays (+110) are just 12-11 overall against righty starters.
However, both starters will be in this summer's All-Star game, barring injuries, so I prefer the Under more than the ANGELS (-135).

I don't like L.A.'s ML enough to sprinkle on the Angels -1.5 (+170) and the Rays +1.5 (-210) is too expensive even though I give them the edge in Wednesday's starting pitching matchup.
Over/Under
BET the UNDER 6.5 (+105) since both starters have Cy Young-caliber stuff and pitched well vs. Wednesday's opponents albeit in a small sample size.
Ohtani grades in the 85th percentile or better in exit velocity (EV) and barrel rate (according to Statcast) and McClanahan is in 84th percentile or higher in K%, chase rate and whiff rate.
