The Utah Jazz (31-33) and Oklahoma City Thunder (29-34) meet Sunday at Paycom Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook's lines around the Jazz vs. Thunder odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

This season series is tied 1-1 with the Over hitting in 1 of the 2 meetings.

In the most recent meeting Friday, Oklahoma City covered as a 1-point home favorite with a 130-103 win as the Over (231) hit. G Aaron Wiggins scored a game-high 27 points off the bench for the Thunder, who snapped a 5-game skid.

Oklahoma City All-Star G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (health and safety protocols, abdominal strain) is available Sunday after missing 4 straight games.

The Thunder are 0-2-2 against the spread (ATS) in their last 4 games after a win by more than 10 points. The Jazz are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 after allowing more than 125 points in their previous contest.

Jazz at Thunder picks and predictions

Prediction

Thunder 115, Jazz 114

Moneyline

PASS.

Oklahoma City (-230) should win, but its moneyline is a little inflated due to the absence of F Lauri Markkanen and the return of Gilgeous-Alexander. Bet the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET JAZZ +6.5 (-115).

G Jordan Clarkson and F Kelly Olynyk are capable enough scorers to carry the offensive load for 1 game in the absence of Markkanen. While this may not be enough to get the straight-up win, Utah should be able to keep it close. The Jazz have performed well in similar situations and are tied for the 3rd-best cover percentage as an away underdog this season at 63.6% (14-8-1 ATS).

While Gilgeous-Alexander's return obviously upgrades Oklahoma City, the Thunder are just 1-4-2 ATS in their last 7 games after a win. Look for Oklahoma City to let down after Friday's rout of the Jazz.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 236.5 (-115).

The Under is 5-1 in Utah's last 6 games and 17-7 in the Jazz' last 24 after allowing more than 125 points in their previous contest. The Under has hit in 16 of Utah's last 21 games vs. teams with a losing record and is 10-2 in Oklahoma City's last 12 when playing in the same situation. Look for Utah to score less than usual in the absence of Markkanen and for Gilgeous-Alexander to be less productive than expected coming off an injury.
