Caroline Wozniacki wearing diamond ring; are she and Rory McIlroy engaged?

Caroline Wozniacki was seen sporting a diamond ring on her left ring finger while she and her boyfriend, golfer Rory McIlory, arrived in Australia for the start of her 2013 tennis season.
It didn't take long for the Australian press to connect the possible dots between Wozniacki wearing a new ring, the recent Christmas holiday and unsubstantiated engagement rumors.
Wozniacki was wearing the gem-encrusted ring alongside a thinner ring on her left hand when she arrived at Brisbane International Airport and again when she came to the Queensland Tennis Centre for the first time. She has not played the Brisbane tournament before. But she removed the rings during a practice session on the outside courts in the shadow of Pat Rafter Arena, the feature court.
The couple has been dating for a whirlwind 18 months. Some of their relationship highlights include:

Feb. 2012 -- A Valentine's Day rendezvous in Dubai, holding hands in front of paparazzi during one of McIlory's golf exhibitions and a no junk food bet that was covered by the international media: The couple's seventh month together was fairly routine.
Mar. 4, 2012 -- Wearing an amazing sweater, McIlroy plays a point for Wozzy against Maria Sharapova during an exhibition match at Madison Square Garden.
