USA TODAY releases an update to its iPad app

USA TODAY has just released an update to its iPad app. What's new in version 3.0.1? First, we've brought back our classic Crossword puzzle. So back by popular demand is the same puzzle experience that was in our previous app. Time yourself, get hints and play puzzles from previous days. It's all back. Second, we've both increased the font size of the headlines and rearranged the layout in the 'list view' of the app. This was done to improve readability and make scanning the headlines in this view easier. Third, we've made some improvements to our weather location finder.

All of these changes are in addition to the new features we've added last month. Readers can expect a much deeper, visual storytelling experience. Look for more photo galleries, videos and interactives to accompany articles. Don't have time to read all the news?
