TECH NOW: Track Santa on your mobile device

  • Track Santa on the web or with mobile apps
  • Take a picture with the iCaughtSanta app

Track Santa as he flies around the world, with the NORAD Tracks Santa App for iOS and Android. Santa tweets updates, and the app is filled with all kinds of historical and scientific data — for instance, he'll be in and out of your house in about three ten-thousandths of a second.

Luckily, that's plenty of time for you to capture a photo of him with the iCaughtSanta app. Snap a quick pic of your own living room and the app inserts a photo of Santa so you can "prove" he was there.

Still, inquiring young minds everywhere are likely to have a few burning questions like — "How does Santa get around the whole world in one night?" or "How does Santa get into houses without a fireplace?" Ask Santa (www.asksanta.pearl.com) tackles those tough queries.

You can track Santa on the web at noradsanta.org. And Google's getting into the act again, too, at www. google.com/santatracker.
