Typically, the best time to buy a new TV for the lowest price is on Black Friday, Cyber Monday and just before the Super Bowl. In other words, not in the summertime. 

But TV technology has evolved so quickly over the last few years that the size and quality of sets that used to break the bank – are now available for a fraction of the price. As a result, new televisions are flying off store shelves and there’s a buying boom on TVs and other home entertainment gadgets. 

If you want to upgrade, refresh, or build out your home entertainment hub on a reasonably tight budget, here are four tips for getting the most bang for your buck.
