At first glance, this unassuming stool might not seem like anything special, but au contraire. We put this 4.7-star rated invention to the test because we wanted to see if the more than 30,000 Amazon reviewers who are obsessed with it were really on to something. Turns out, they are.
In our review, we found that this device was a total game-changer. Designed to help relax your Puborectalis muscle, which maintains a tight grip around your you-know-what throughout the day to keep your body's waste in its proper place, this stool may facilitate easier evacuations while you're doing your business. That's because it readjusts users from a standard sitting position to a more squat-like posture, propping your feet up in order to allow this muscle to ease up. While this device will in no way treat major health conditions (those experiencing persistent rectal issues should consult with a trained medical professional), our tester believed that folks using it could be less likely to experience straining while going to the bathroom.
