In testing, we enjoyed the Tempur-Topper Supreme for a number of reasons, namely, its feel. Made from the same proprietary memory foam as the brand's oft-praised mattresses, this 3-inch pad delivers an unmistakeable, quicksand-like sensation whenever you sit or lay down on it, yet provides a firm layer of support once you settle in for the night. 

For hot sleepers, this is a particularly good find, as our tester was pleasantly surprised to discover that it didn't get overly warm overnight in the way that many other toppers and mattresses made from memory foam do. Even better, the topper retained its shape well throughout the testing period, which bodes well for longevity. 

Although this pad did have a noticeable smell upon unpacking, the odor dissipated within a few days. The product also comes with a removable, machine-washable cover, which can help minimize the odor in the meantime.
