Obama ad stresses 'challenges' he inherited

President Obama's atest television ad stresses the bad economy he inherited, and illustrates his White House term with a notably dramatic voice: Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman.

"Every president inherits challenges," Freeman intones. "Few have faced so many."

The ad goes on to cite the death of Osama bin Laden, the winding down of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and signs of economic recovery -- though it notes that more remains to be done.

"Four years later our enemies have been brought to justice," Freeman says in the ad. "Our heroes are coming home. Assembly lines are humming again -- (but) there are still challenges to meet, children to educate, a middle class to rebuild."

While it does not mention Republican opponent Mitt Romney by name, Freeman says that "the last thing we should do is turn back now."
