President Obama and Matt Damon can take criticism of each other -- we think.
Back in 2011, Damon hit Obama for allegedly not following through on some campaign promises, thereby earning himself a spot in the president's comedic remarks at that year's White House Correspondents Association dinner.
Referring to one of Damon's less successful projects, Obama joked: "Just the other day, Matt Damon -- I love Matt Damon, love the guy -- Matt Damon said he was disappointed in my performance. Well, Matt, I just saw "The Adjustment Bureau," so ... right back atcha, buddy."
In a new profile in GQ magazine, Damon said he got dozens of e-mails from friends about Obama's joke, and decided to check it out online.
"I have to say, it was pretty funny," Damon said -- though he doubted Obama wrote it himself.
"Whoever came up with it," he said, "it was a terrific joke."
