First lady Michelle Obama says she's done "pretty well" at keeping her political opinions to herself -- but not always easily.
"I have learned from my husband, watching him, that it does require a great deal of patience to really feel the full impact of the work that you do on the ground," Mrs. Obama told ABC's Barbara Walters in a recent interview, notes Politico. "It doesn't happen right away."
President Obama said during the joint interview that his wife "has a bigger difficulty biting her tongue."
"I think I've done pretty well at that," the first lady replied.
"Not bad," the president said.
Later in the interview, Mrs. Obama confessed: "I have opinions."
Added the president: "She's got a few views."
