Obama's day: A national security meeting

President Obama heads to the White House Situation Room on Tuesday afternoon to with meet with members of his National Security Council.

Potential topics range from the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria to efforts to eradicate Ebola in West Africa.

Earlier in the day, Obama and Vice President Biden meet with Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Louisville, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Obama and Biden also have a private lunch on Tuesday.
