32. Celebrity Eclipse, built by Celebrity Cruises in 2010, weighs 121,878 GT and carries 2,853 passengers at double occupancy.

Celebrity Cruises on Tuesday revealed plans to home port a ship in Dublin -- a first for a major line.

The Miami-based cruise operator said the 2,850-passenger Celebrity Eclipse would operate voyages out of the Irish capital from late April through June of 2018.

New itineraries out of Dublin will include a 10-night Ireland and Iceland sailing that features calls at Belfast in Northern Ireland; Reykjavik and Akureyri in Iceland; Lerwick, Scotland; and Cork, Ireland.

The ship also will sail eight-night Norwegian Fjords voyages out of Dublin.

Celebrity also will sell a three-night, pre-cruise hotel stay in Dublin that includes guided tours.

The Eclipse's new Dublin deployment will bring an end to the vessel's eight-year run operating summer sailings out of Southampton, England. The ship will be replaced in Southampton for summers by sister ship Celebrity Silhouette.

After operating out of Dublin for the first part of the summer of 2018, Eclipse will move to Amsterdam to sail 12-night British Isles and 12-night Scandinavia and Russia itineraries. It'll also operate two Mediterranean sailings out of Barcelona in September 2018.
