A woman landed in jail after allegedly fighting Transportation Security Administration and police officers who stopped her from using an employee-only entrance at Orlando International Airport without proper ID Wednesday night.
According to The Orlando Sentinel and NBC affiliate WESH-TV, Angela Grace McNaughton grabbed the TSA officer's radio when he tried to stop her from using the employee-only entrance and threw it to the ground.
Their reports say the police officer tased her after she resisted arrest and then found a leftover container holding a small amount of marijuana among her belongings.
According to an arrest database maintained by the Orange County Police, the 38-year-old was booked at 2:18 a.m. Thursday and charged with two counts of battery as well as possession of marijuana and grabbing an officer's radio.
WESH and ABC affiliate WFTV both reported that a knife fell out of her jacket during the confrontation; however, she was not charged with possession of a weapon according to her
McNaughton is currently being held on a $2,900 bond.
