Wednesday's forecast: Snow, rain for Great Lakes
The nation's stormiest weather Wednesday will be near the Great Lakes and in the Northeast while most of the West and South enjoys mild, dry weather.
Great Lakes, East: Snow will fly across the northern Great Lakes Wednesday while rain��and thunderstorms are likely from the Ohio and Tennessee valleys into the Southeast. Much of the East Coast will see rain by Wednesday night, with snow possible for northern Maine. High temperatures will only rise into the 30s and 40s for most of the Great Lakes region and New England.
West: Almost the entire western half of the nation will see clear skies and mild to warm temperatures on Wednesday. Highs will soar into the 70s and 80s in many areas.
