The sun sinks below the horizon in Sumter, S.C., on Nov. 21.

For one Your Take contributor, landscape photography is a real stress reducer.

Ena Marie Jackson walked through Sumter, S.C., at dusk on a day where the season highlighted the oranges and reds of the sun sinking below the horizon. Jackson says the photo gave her a Thanksgiving feel.

"It was a spur of the moment photo and I didn't have my DSLR," Jackson says. "So I used my Canon Powershot that I always carry in my car."

Jackson used OnOne software for cropping and a slight vignette — for a softer feel.

"The rural landscapes slow me down and remind me of the natural beauty and serenity around us that we so often take for granted or don't have time to notice," Jackson says.
