Tyrannosaurus rex: new evidence of pack-like behavior, similar to wolves, for the carnivore predators.
The Utah Bureau of Land Management announced a groundbreaking discovery of the first T. rex mass death site located in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

"The new Utah site adds to the growing body of evidence showing that tyrannosaurs were complex, large predators capable of social behaviors common in many of their living relatives, the birds,” said Dr. Joe Sertich, curator of dinosaurs at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

A population density study suggests about 3,800 T. rexes would have roamed in an area the size of California.
At any one time during their few million years in North America, about 20,000 T. rex would have been alive — a relatively small population density.

Illustrated look at
5 new dinosaur discoveries

Let's go, guys!

Flying “Wing Lizards” with necks as long as a giraffe’s and a fearsome predator not named
T rex. are among five fascinating dinosaur findings.

Also known as the Wing Lizard, these gigantic flying reptiles flew about 100 million years ago. Researchers believe they fed primarily on fish.
New research has found their neck vertebra had a bone structure that resembled a bicycle wheel's spokes, which allowed them to support their long necks and massive heads.

Dzharatitanis kingi: This new species of Rebbachisauridae, was discovered in Uzbekistan
Sup?
This giant dinosaur is thought to
have traveled from Europe to Asia on two land masses, a prehistoric bridge, which allowed animals and humans to travel to other territories before ocean waters cut it off.

Rebbachisaurid dinosaurs are typically found in South America, Africa and Europe. The discovery of this D. Kingi in Asia is surprising to paleontologists. It would have lived 90 million years ago.
spinosaurus:
paleontologists to this day are bewildered by this aquatic giant.

A 2020 study hypothesized that this fish-eating dinosaur might have used its fin-like tail to propel itself underwater to hunt its prey. A more recent study compares its behavior to that of a heron wading in shallow waters for its prey. Paleontologists have been debating the behavior of this creature since 1915, when it was first discovered.

Llukalkan aliocranianus: has been named the "one who causes fear" by scientists.
A fearsome meat-eating killer, the Llukalkan aliocranianus was likely among the top predators throughout Patagonia, now in Argentina, during the late Cretaceous period because of its formidable size, extremely powerful bite, sharp teeth, huge claws and keen sense of smell, according to scientists.
Hey, I'm "one who causes fear!" Cool!
